This is one of the only Zelda games that I have never played. I heard it was good, but I don't have a Gameboy so I wouldn't know.

It's pretty good. It was actually the first Zelda game I played, so I have a certain emotional attachment to it. I've beat it at least 50 times, no joke.

That's crazy, but that's alright. We're all Zelda fans here in one way or another or we wouldn't be here or at least I wouldn't think.

except for the holy gay soccermaster, everyone here is... this game was not bad accutally. I quite enjoyed the game. Although the secret seashells were kinda hard to discover....the DX version was more fun as it was in color and you could get a permanent guardian acorn or pice of power if you found the secret in the graveyard and made it to the fairy.

I didn't care for this game when it was in it's black and white stage, and even after it became DX it was still pretty dull.

It was a pretty good nice short zelda game. It could have been better, yes.

I first played this game when I was a wee little tike and I needed the player's guide to beat it. I pretty much memorized the entire book and could beat it backwards.

Yeah sometimes you do need to use the Player's Guide especially when you are very little. You seem to sometimes forget where things are. Not saying that is how everybody is, just some.

the DX one is the only Link's Awakening I played, and I always get stuck in the swamp level, with the "dog" on a chain.

This one was one of my favorites, but that because when every one was raving about OoT I could'nt aford an N64, so I bought this one. I loved it, this was the 3rd Zelda game I played, but it is still one of my favorites. Call me crazy but if you gave me a choice to play through OoT or LA again I would choose LA...well, thats because I sold it like a year ago and I just killed ganon in OoT today for like the 40th time (I'm counting and its actully 34)
