*the sky is dark as Lan makes his way home. There is lightning flashing down, and it's raining furiously. As he nears home, he sees a light on inside. The door is ajar. As he enters his home, Lan draws his sword. Looking at the table, he sees a dwarf hunched over with the lit candle in front of him.* Who are you?

I am in search of the greatest swordsman in all the land, and I was told to find YOU, here. My name is Jaks and I am the King of all the Dwarves. I am the sole savivor of my people. They were killed by a man named Zepka. While I was away, he came and destroyed my race because we were the only Dwarves who could wield the power of Magic, and he was afraid of us.
I have come in search of you sir, hoping that you can help me avenge my people for what Zepka has done.

Well, on my travels to get here, I very well ran out of herbs, and potions. Also, the the sharpness has come off my ax. Are there any weapons and armor shops around here?

*looks at the dwarf* I have all we should need in the celler. Come.*he opens the door and goes downstairs* Sharpen your axe over there*points to a grindstone*Herbs and potions there, and swords, knives, and other 'toys' are right here..

Ah, thank you sir. I am very much obliged. *Jaks sharpens his ax* Now this is MUCH better. This will do for quite some time. *takes some potions and herbs.* Well, I do believe that I am ready to go. After you of course.

Well, I did pass a cave not too far away from here, and there's a legend that their is a special treasure that will allow you to breathe underwater in it. I don't know if it's true or not, but I do know there are monsters all throughout the cave.
I for one would not go there by myself, but now since I have the greatest swordsman of all time with me, then we may just get it. it's up to you though if you want. *waits for Lan's decision*

Man, it sure is cold out tonight. It's nothing I can't handle though. You kinda have to get used to it.

Me? Nah. Never have and most likely never will. It's kinda hard to get people to notice you when you're a dwarf, but that's alright.
Anyhoo, looks like it's about dawn. You ready to venture into the cave? I know I'm ready as I'll ever be.
