Okay, this might be different from other RPG's that you have played in the past, but here it goes. The way it works is that each of you post a continuation of the story while in your character, so that we end up with a really good story that could hake for good reading one day.

Anyway, each character has different stats, and as with each post made, you get a stat point that you can add to either your Srg (strengh), Def (defence), Mag (magic power), Spt (magic defence) and Spd (speed).

The characers are:

Nene: White Sorceress (played by Excel)
Koji: Thief-
Akito: Ronin-Masterless Samurai- (played by Rauru)
Jiro: Ninja- (played by Tigerclaw2099)
Shikori: Black Mage-
Yuji: Black Kight (bad guy)- (played by Rocklord)

I still have some more planning to do, so for now just pm me stating which character you want to be. Any posted requests will be ignored.

And just so things are made easier, please don't post on this thread just yet anyway. Not until I get the start of the story figured out, as well as each characters starting stats made. I'll explain how the whole stat thing works later.

The setting for Final Fantasy Blue:

The world of Erina has four great nations named after their capital city. They are:

Thetus- The land of water to the East. A country ruled by a wise, but world weary king called Theodor Tehnan. It's notable for it's happy and compassionate citizens. It is a close ally of Gretiania, once sided with them to fight Doria, during the great war of 200 years ago.
Gretiania- The land of wind to the South. Is a country of monks and priests. They represent the ancient order of Asukin, who are responsible for guarding the power of the ancient empire of Asuwrath, and preventing it from falling in the wrong hands. Led by the high priest Yugono, they are peaceful, but did fight Doria 200 years ago after they were invaded by them.
Doria- The land of Fire to the West. Led by an evil wizard called Hemilo for the past 500 years. Nobody knows why he has managed to live this long, but it's thought that he is immortal. All who enter here are usually found dead the next day. They tried to invade Gratiania 200 years ago, but were beaten back by both the Gretianian and Thetus armies. They have supposedly been rebuilding their armies ever since.
Yevoa- The land of Forest to the North. Little is known about Yevoa as they have no contact with the outside world. Anyone who enters is never seen again, along with any army that tries to invade. Despite numerous attempts to invade from all the nations throughout history, Yeova itself has never attacked any of the other nations. A real mystery.

Characters:

Nene- Born in Thetus, Nene is a rookie White Sorceress who was only ordained one a few days ago, and as such, still has to prove her worth. She is compassionate and gentile, like most Thetus citizens, but has no actual experience in the field. Thetus White Sorceresses are expected to assist troops during times of war, but for Nene, the idea of helping out with any war is not appealing, although she will do anything to help her friends.
Koji- Born in the small Gratianian village of Tuno, he learned to fend for himself quickly. He began a life of crime at a very young age. Although he would never admit it, stealing is actually something he hates doing. He has earned the name 'koishi' because of the many gems he steals. Taking only what he needs to live, he gives the majority of his earnings to others who are worse off then he is. He is currently in Thetus waiting for an opportunity to steal the great diamond of Thetus, which is the symbol of the house of Magic.
Akito- Born in Thetus, Akito was once a loyal samurai to a local Thetus Governor who sadly died last year under 'suspicious' circumstances. He is a master swordsman who lives his life by the code of the samurai, and has vowed not to rest until he has found the one responsible for his masters death. He is currently in Thetus looking for them, but plans to move on to Gatiania later to continue the search.
Jiro- A young, inexperienced, but deadly ninja from Yeova. So he doesn't draw attention to himself, he moves about Thetus disguised as a merchant selling potions and other medicines. His reasons for being in Thetus are not known, as is almost everything else about him. Although those who have met him in the market would descried him as 'energetic' but 'secretive'.
Shikori Born in Thetus, Shikori is black mage who spends his days training and studying the black arts. He hopes to one day be a teacher to other students learning there, and was ordained a black mage at about the same time as Nene was ordained a white sorceress. He is brave, and enthusiastic about his work. He does have a crush on Nene, but the order of the house of magic forbids Black and White mages from interacting with each other in such ways.
Yuji- Born in Doria, he enlisted with the knights when he was 12, and quickly rose through the ranks to earn the title of Black Knight. Sadistic and Twisted, he suits the role perfectly, and proved himself worthy of his title when he lead an assault against the Thetus village of Yunonabe, killing all who lived there. Dark Wizard Hemilo himself is said to have noticed Yuji's achienvemnts, and is likely to go far in Doria.

It was a bright day in Thetus as everyone was celebrating the festival of Bywin, a yearly festival in which the people of Thetus come to watch various acts and plays in the streets, a tradition reaching back 500 years.

Nene, who would normally be out celebrating was in her room. This was becuase the White Sorceress's of Thetus were not permitted to go out into the streets on busy days like this for security reasons.

She sat dangling her White pendant in front of herself. She still couldn't believe that she had done it! That she had become a white sorceress...a rare and highly respected skill all over the world. She knew this was only because Thetus was the only nation that had the ability to train them...black mages too for that matter.

Socara, a friend of Nene's, and a fellow White Sorceress walked into her room.

"Hey Nene! Me and a few others are going out to the festival. Are you comming?"

"What!? We can't go out there now! It's forbidden!"

"Ha, who cares? We are going to go and have some fun! And you're comming too!"

Socara pushed Nene out of the chair and into her closet. "There! now get changed out of your robes and we can get going."
