Actually, Ganon is in Link's Awakening. He's one of the shadows you fight at the end. He's the one that shoots the fire bats and throws the axe. Majora's Mask is the only game I can think of the doesn't have Ganon in it, but that's beside the point. The point is he didn't go away even though he wasn't in one game. They'll keep using him until they exhaust themselves of ideas.

no he is not link is dreaming the whole thing in link's awakening and ganon is not in it. it is just a shadow he fights so you know.

The whole thing is a dream, so techinically Link isn't in it either, if you want to use that reasoning.

Ooookay. Slightly back on topic, here. First of all, you can't have a good solid classic Zelda without Ganon. I don't care. If they leave him out, I'm going to go jump off of a cliff. MM, and pretty much ALL the GB games didn't have ganon, and just weren't fun without him. (LA, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, i dunno. lots.) And as a quick little FYI: Nintendo hasn't come up with any official title yet! The Legend of Zelda is the tentative title. It's not official. And as for the logo? No. It doesn't need to be changed, I don't think. It always gives me goosebumps just looking at it...  Anyway, that's my spill... |

Link, the Nightmares and the Wind Fish are all real. It's not Link's dream, but the Wind Fish's. Link is somehow summoned into the dream.
As for the logo, that's the same as was used in the first video of TWW. It will most likely not e in the game. I hope it won't, 'cause it's the same as the one in OoT and the sword is placed the wrong way.
