That's because Englnd was trying to fight a European war. In the wars agianst France, the stratagy for both sides was to match their armies up in front of each other and start shooting.
You guys started that way as well, except we kept on winning, so you changed to using ambushes and guerrilla tactics. Actually, the British Generals found your fighting style really very offensive...which explains why we lost really. ^^;;

id hate to know what would have happened if we hadnt changed to a better tactic. i guess wed all be counted as british instead of americans.

LOL. Only the more deadly kind of guns are illegal over here, and I know some people who would do anything to get hold of one. I don't like them myself, but I don't speak for the whole country.
But yeah..I wounder what you would be like if you were English? You would probably be the same I guess...expect you would have a different accent.

I personally SUCK at accents. I can't even fake an accent. The only other kind of voice that I can do is Yoshi, but I can't even do him as well as I used to.
