Now I don't have anything against cats. I personally like them myself, I just prefer dogs over cats. Also, for some unknown reason my mom despises cats, and I really don't know why.

Oh, it's this old superstition that cats suck the breath out of babies, or stand on their chest so they can't breath and suffocate them. But the reason the cat sniffs at the baby is because it smells the milk in the baby's breath, and the cat wants some, too.
... That's why there are no cats in Zelda, Ocarina of time. If there were, they'd follow link everywhere if they smelled that he had milk with him, and if he was trying to drink it as young Link, they'd probably swarm and attack, because they wanted the milk.

What about Link gets turned into a cat? ;D That would be cool, but then you'd have to call the game
The Ledgend of Zelda: Catnip Mouse of Time. Ang Zelda would be a cat, and Ganondorf woud be a Dog that turns into a giant, rabid wolf in the final battle, and Navi would be a butterfly, and Zoras would be dolphins, and Stalcchildren would be a cat skeleton, and Stalfos would be a big cat skeleton, and It would be Strawberry milk, Mint milk and Blueberry milk instead of red, blue and green potion, and bombs would be flaming bags of cat poop, ad poes would be flies that you catch and sell to another cat who eats them, and the swords would be the skeletons of different fish, and Gorons would be mountain lions, and gerudos would be dogs, and cuccos would stay the same, and the monsters would all stay the same, and all the other items, but if you drink the milk, it would be instead of drinking it like he normally dose, Link would lap it all up, get his head stuck in the bottle, and pull the bottle off.
