metroid may have come first but the games have very little in common. samus was a bounty hunter with an enhancement suit. whereas mega man was a really freakin powerful robot. mega man would kick the crap out of samus. especially if he had the metal man weapon. but the aniversary collection had 1-8 and the 2 power battles games.
